David Lilienstein Joins Pillsbury & Levinson LLP's Expanding Insurance Law Practice

Lilienstein is an expert in insurance law, with extensive experience representing policyholders in bad faith insurance cases and ERISA actions.

Lilienstein joins Pillsbury & Levinson, LLP, from Bourhis & Wolfson, where he also specialized in bad faith insurance. Lilienstein has been practicing law since 2001 and has already achieved Advocate status from the National College of Advocacy, American Trial Lawyers Association (ATLA). He is also the author of a number of articles on disability insurance, and is a recognized expert in insurance and insurance law. Among his other credits, Lilienstein appears regularly as the Insurance Expert on KRON-TV's "Rob Black and Your Money" program. He holds a membership in the ATLA, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the American Bar Association, among other organizations.

Lilienstein graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law, where he served as editor of the Journal of Law and Social Challenges. He also served as a judicial extern for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He received his undergraduate degree from Grinnell College.
